On October 30, 2026, Imagination in Action, MIT CSAIL, MIT LIDS, MassRobotics, and TEDxMIT, with The Engine and the MA AI Coalition, convene the people building Physical AI at MIT, where much of it was invented. An official event of Tough Tech Week, hosted by John Werner, Daniela Rus, Joyce Sidopoulos,Tom Ryden, and Tye Brady.

The summit takes the top two floors of the MIT Samberg Conference Center. The 7th floor carries the main stage in the salons, with wraparound terraces for outdoor demos and views across the Charles. The 6th floor holds the training, breakouts, demos, and dining.
The room has history: this is the stage where IIA hosted Sam Altman, and home to the Women in Robotics Gala.
