Stuart McLaughlin

Head of Advocacy & Strategic Partnerships, Google.org

Stuart leads Google.org's Advocacy and Partnerships work , focusing on external third party partnerships with organisations like the UN and the World Economic Forum and global grantees such as Wikipedia, Web Foundation, Project Everyone and the UN Office for Partnerships. In addition he works closely with Google’s leadership to bring Google.org grantees stories and impact to conversations and dialogue at events such as the WEF AGM, UNGA, COP.

Previously he led Google’s strategic corporate philanthropy in the area of Online Safety, working with civil society organisations developing online and offline responses to support people with adapting and responding to changes in technology.

He also spent 4 years as Business Development Director with Accenture working across both the public and private sectors in Ireland, and a period with Fujitsu in the UK. He moved to Ireland in 2001 to join CapGemini as Head of Outsourcing. Alongside these roles he has taught as an adjunct lecturer at both Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin.
