Dr Fabien Laurier is managing Director in Deloitte’s Sustainability, Climate, and Equity practice where leads the Nature Services and Climate Data and AI offerings.

Prior Fabien led Ocean Conservation at the Minderoo Foundation and served as Vice President for Technology Innovation at National Geographic Society where he oversaw the design, development, and deployment of remote sensing and AI technologies in the areas of in support of conservation, exploration, and storytelling.

Fabien also served in the Obama White House as Senior Policy Advisor for Climate Change Resilience and Preparedness, Director of the National Climate Assessment, and as Deputy Director of the National Ocean Council for Ocean Science and Technology.

Fabien received his Ph.D. in Chemical Oceanography from La Sorbonne University in Paris, France.
