His notable roles include serving as the Program Director at Microsoft leading the creation of the Planetary Computer, and as the VP of Social Impact at Satellogic, focusing on Earth Observation Satellite strategies and Chief Scientist at Mapbox. Bruno's expertise in data science was also evident during his tenure at the World Bank, managing large-scale data operations. Recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. Currently, Bruno is the Executive Director of Clay, an AI for Earth nonprofit, continuing his commitment to leveraging technology for environmental and social good. His educational background includes a Ph.D. in Solar Physics from the Max Planck Institute, supplemented by executive education from top universities.
